After a dozen years on the west coast for college and grad school, Rachel has been back working and raising a family in Athens since 2003. She opened Nabo Realty with husband Joe in 2017.
At Nabo, Rachel is the CFO and Director of Marketing, overseeing all marketing and advertising and operating the Nabo Realty social media accounts. She is also the editor of The Faces of Athens website, a project of Nabo Realty that shows Athens, GA to the world, one awesome person at a time.
In addition to her work at Nabo Realty, Rachel owns Rachel Allen Media Services, providing public relations and marketing services to a variety of businesses, schools and organizations. Rachel also serves as the Media Representative for AthFest Educates and the Communications Coordinator for The Cottage Sexual Assault Center & Children’s Advocacy Center. Rachel also serves on the board of the Athens Area Homeless Shelter. Rachel lives on the Eastside of Athens with husband Joe, their big dog, Myla, and their little dog, Jazzy. They have two grown children, Grace and Luke.
