Carol Ragin is a proud UGA alumna, having graduated with a degree in public relations. She spent eight years in marketing and advertising, starting out as an intern at a PR firm in Atlanta and working her way up to Director of Client Service for a mid-size agency in Madison, Wis. After having two little girls, Carol and her husband Marc moved the family back to Georgia in 2016 for him to join the faculty in UGA’s Terry College of Business. In the years since, Carol worked as a four-term Treasurer for the High Shoals Elementary School PTO, in addition to many other volunteer efforts with the school and local community. She also was in the 2022 cohort for Oconee County Schools' Volunteer Instructional Leadership Learning Academy. Today, she serves on the board for Second Chance Farms, which rescues farm animals while offering therapeutic services and reading programs at local schools.
